Commander of 44th regiment
My dad, those days, was the commander of 44th regiment (23rd division) mentioned in the article "Battle in Kontum Phase II" starting on May 14, 1972. He was promoted to colonel right after the first attack ended. He is colonel Tran Quang Tien of AFVN.
