Tran,
Your father must have been the commander of the 44 Reg, 23 Div, during July 1972. Lt Charles (Chuck) Tallman was the deputy US advisor to the 44th.
I am researching the 17 July 1972 fight at FSB November, near Kontum. Might you have any information on that day, particularly about LT Charles Tallman? Apparently Tallman was instrumental in calling in artillery and an Arclight.
