My life after La Salle

After leaving LaSalle I majored in Physics at PC. A little burned out after 4 yrs I decided to take a year off before going to grad school. I accepted a teaching position at Bishop Feehan in Attleboro. Taught physics, chemistry and math. Coached freshman football and varsity baseball. Loved baseball (even though I was not that good at LSA) and was named Bristol County Coach of the Year in 1968. In grad school (summer NSF program at RPI) I met my wife Barbara. Changed schools to Swampscott MA (15 miles N of Boston). We've been married for 52+ years now and have three children. Ellen is a philosophy professor at Gonzaga, Tom is a physics professor at Texas Tech and Julie is a social worker in Wakefield MA.
