wikipedia has this about the Easter Offensive:
" PAVN similarly eliminated frontier defense forces in II Corps and advanced to seize the provincial capital of Kontum, which would have opened the way to the sea,"
As a student of the war this doesn't strike me as accurate. QL-24 to Duc Pho exists today, but it's my understanding that QL-19E was the only militarily significant LOC to the coast.
Before I edit Wikipedia I'd like thoughts on this. Thanks.
