I was diagnosed with Amnesia in 1984 when bits of combat began to return. Most of what I could remember seemed like a dream-nightmare that was coming true decades later. I want to thank all the women and men of that time for helping me deal with that time. The problem is...I get to relive things "for the first time" as pieces of my memory return. I cannot remember names or faces, but the sadness is overwhelming.
Thank you all for being there even when you wanted to be on the other side of the World. And a Special thanks to those who left This World, not by choice, but because of Duty.
