John, thanks for the brilliantly written expose of the not-so-hidden motives of the negative Nellies in the left-leaning media. You are absolutely right on all points. It is so easy in this world to feel like things are unraveling on a global scale, that the world is becoming a more dangerous place. But upon closer look, it is hard to not see the slow and steady progress we are making to being a safer, freer world. Without, exception, when peoples around the world are given the choice, regardless of culture or religion, they choose freedom. And the beacon continues to beam brightest from American shores.
My only regret is that it is often those least susceptible to the bullets of tyranny, the leftist ivory-tower radicals who dominate our institutions for conveying "the news", who are most eager to take the ammunition of freedom away from those who are willing to lay down their lives for this noble cause--- the American Soldier! God bless you and all who serve or have served our country.
