Members of the 7/17th who fought in the 1972 Battle of Kontum are planning the second annual reunion for the first week in May 2009. The site for the event will be Mustang Island which is just south of Corpus Christi TX. The week long event is being organized by Larry Brassell and Bart Burns. Those veterans who fought in the 1972 Battle of Kontum or who served in the AO in the 1971 72 period are invited to participate in the event. If you can not stay the entire week feel free to come for whatever time you are able to share with us. We encourage you to bring your wives along so that all can enjoy the camaraderie and share memories. You can find a partial list of unit members in the Unit Rosters section of this web site.
